PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a floating window covers another window to sometimes damage operability. SOLUTION: A window position controller 10 displays a sub window in an unutilized area of a main window. A window recognizing part 12 recognizes the main window and the sub window. An area extracting part 14 extracts an unutilized area on the basis of the display area of the main window. A condition holding part 18 holds extraction conditions of the unutilized area. A position setting part 16 sets a portion of the unutilized area as the display position of the sub window. When a monitoring part 24 detects movement of the main window, a detecting part 26 reextracts the unutilized area, and a deciding part 30 moves the sub window.
