The roof (1) for a swimming pool has an arcuate cross section made of translucent panels and extends across the pool. It has ribs extending parallel to the sides (310) of the pool to cause condensation running down the roof to collect. The collected condensation forms droplets which fall from the ribs (600) into the pool.
