PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program operating device, an informing/protecting device of write processing result, an informing/protecting method of write processing result and a storage medium capable of prompting the repair of equipment when the equipment breaks down by making a worker surely recognize a write processing result and preventing breakage of the equipment due to malfunction. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a judgment processing part 508 to judge whether or not a write processing to a built-in flash ROM 603 is normally terminated, a backup RAM 505 to store the write processing result, an LCD display part 507 to inform of the write processing result in the case of termination of the write processing and to inform of abnormality when the write processing result of the backup RAM 505 is abnormally terminated in the case of starting the device and a protection control part 509 to prohibit start of a slave CPU 601 when the write processing result based on judgment is abnormally terminated in the case of termination of the write processing or when the write processing result of the backup RAM 505 is abnormally terminated.
