PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate error restoration and also to make each user fairly share the restoration work. SOLUTION: A printing system 2 comprises a plurality of terminal devices PC1 to PCn, a printer 3 and a warning device 4. The printer 3 receives a print processing request from the respective terminal devices PC1 to PCn and performs print processing. The warning device 4 notifies of an alarm an active terminal device at which a user is considered to take a seat among the respective terminal devices PC1 to PCn when an error takes places, such as toner shortage and paper jamming in the printer 3. When a terminal device that has received an immediate print processing request is active, the alarm is issued to the terminal device. When the terminal device is not active, the accumulated values of print request quantity of active terminal devices are calculated, and the alarm is issued to a terminal device having the largest print request quantity. |
