<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a power source from being turned on by mistake when an information processor is not operated so that it is possible to prevent the consumption of a battery or the decrease of the driving time from occurring due to the unintentional start of an application or the intermittent application of an input. SOLUTION: At turning off of a power source, it is possible for a user to clearly define that the information processor is not used for a while by turning on a hold switch 6. When the user does not want to operate the information processor on purpose at the time of putting it in his or her bag, any malfunction can be prevented by using the hold switch 6. In a portable information terminal whose surface is largely occupied with buttons or a touch panel for a pen input or the like, once the power source is turned on in the bag, it is impossible to judge whether this is any unnecessary operation due to the movement in the bag or any user input. Then, when preventing any careless power supply, the hold function is preliminarily turned on so that any malfunction can be prevented.</p> |
