PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cradle capable of improving convenience at transmitting data from portable information equipment to host equipment. SOLUTION: This cradle 400 is provided with a portable information interface part 204 to be connected to portable information equipment 300 so as to be communicatable, a PC interface part 205 to be connected to a PC 800 so as to be communicatable, and an RAM 203 having a buffer area for temporarily storing data. Data transmitted from the portable information equipment 300 through the portable information equipment interface part 204 are received and temporarily stored in a buffer area 203b of the RAM 203, and the data temporarily stored in the buffer area 203b of the RAM 203 are transmitted through the PC interface part 205 to the PC 800.
