PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proxy device capable of relieving a load of a network. SOLUTION: When reply data with the new contents is transferred from a proxy 30 on the server side to a proxy 40 on the client side, the data is correlated with fingerprint calculated by applying a hush function to the data and registered in a finger print cache in both of the proxies. When reply data with the same fingerprint as the one registered in the fingerprint cache is transferred from the proxy 30 on the server side to the proxy 40 on the client side, the finger print is transferred as a substitute for the reply data. |
