摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for a lithium secondary battery capable of exhibiting high discharge capacity, high initial efficiency and little cycle deterioration; and to provide a producing method thereof, a carbonaceous negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery with the usage of the negative electrode material, and a lithium secondary battery. SOLUTION: This producing method of the carbonaceous negative electrode material for the lithium secondary battery contains a process (i) for obtaining a carbon-metal composite by carrying at least one of metallic components selected from (a) a metal capable of forming an alloy with lithium, (b) an alloy containing a metal capable of forming an alloy with lithium, and (c) a metallic compound capable of forming an alloy with lithium, and a process (ii) for heat- treating the obtained carbon-metal composite under a reducing atmosphere.
