PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the work for sorting business forms having minute investigation processing due to reading error and causing conveyance error into corresponding sort pockets by giving original number of this system to each business form. SOLUTION: If there is a business form making it impossible to read an amount column among many business forms 101, 102 sent from each business store, reading data in the amount column of the business form is set to 0 yen. Consequently, the business form whose amount column is set to 0 yen is picked up in minute investigation processing and is checked with a send slip sent together with the business form from the business store to set correct amount data. Moreover, if conveyance error of the business form occurs, respective sort pocket numbers of the business forms sorted immediately before the occurrence of conveyance error are contrasted with a series of numbers given to the business forms and are display so that an operator can easily judge in which number sort pocket the business forms causing the conveyance error is sorted by seeing the display.
