PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message transmission method, which transmits the message of a portable information terminal device outside a communication range to other portable information terminal device and delivers the message, when the portable information terminal device having received the message enters the communication range, and the portable information terminal device. SOLUTION: The message is sent from a first portable information terminal device located outside the communication range to a second portable information terminal device capable of communication, and when the above second portable information terminal device shifts to a range where a relay station can communicate (S70), this message is sent to the server of the relay station (S72). Then it notifies to the effect that message transmission has been successful (S74).
