PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of an entire wireless unit. SOLUTION: A communication network broadcasts a hyper frame in a state identification information (e.g. 'a1', 'a2', 'a3', and 'a4' with respect to a super frame a) to identify to which area of the hyper frame super frames (a), (b) are assigned is stored. Upon the receipt of the super frame (a) or (b), the wireless unit interprets the identification information of the received super frame (a) or (b) to identify a reception position in the hyper frame so as to decide a timing for succeeding reception.
