PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin planar antenna with wide band characteristics. SOLUTION: In this antenna, in which one edge of a feeder 1 is connected to a coaxial receptacle 6, and the other edge is connected through a via hole 3 formed on a dielectric flat plate 15 to the feeding point of an antenna element 1, and an antenna element 2 constituted of a metal conductor and a transmission line 1 constituted of a strip conductor for supplying a power to the antenna element are formed on the dielectric flat plate 15, with two stabs 4 and 5 whose width is the same and whose length is different are formed at almost the same location of the transmission line 1. Therefore, the antenna whose power supply is performed by at least partially using the transmission line 1 is provided with the stabs 4, and 5 whose shapes are different at almost the same location of the transmission line 1.
