PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a window registered so as to be displayed on the screen of a designated submonitor in accordance with the connection state of the designated submonitor. SOLUTION: A multimonitor system is provided with a main monitor, a plurality of submonitors and a computer having an interface capable of connecting the main monitor and furthermore connecting the plurality of submonitors. The computer comprises an inputting part, a storing part, a window registering part for registering a window identification ID for being displayed on the screen of the designated submonitor and the data in the storing part by an operation of the inputting part, a monitor detecting part for detecting whether or not the designated submonitor is connected to the interface, and a display controlling part for retrieving data corresponding to the window identification ID registered in the storing part and displaying the retrieved window on the screen of the designated submonitor at the time of receiving detection results that the submonitor designated from the monitor detecting part is connected to the interface.
