restoration of parts, namely, by surfacing, particularly restoration of turbogenerators having deep cracking in zones of drive fit of rings on armature of turbogenerator. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of removing cracking by grinding them out; melting turnings in zone of removed cracking with electrode metal for providing ductile and strength structure of austenite reinforced by means of ferrite delta-phase; constantly controlling temperature and providing guaranteed heat supply; finishing up ring size in melting zone until predetermined values. EFFECT: reduced time period for performing restoration, improved quality of restored rings.
