The control mechanism consists of a diaphragm (70) with a peripheral section (72) forming a Belleville ring and a central section divided into radial fingers (74), and a release stop (57) which presses against the fingers. It has an intermediate de-coupling member between the stop and fingers to divide the relative movement of the stop and fingers into a radial sliding movement between the intermediate element and the fingers and a rolling movement between the stop and intermediate element. The intermediate element has an outer surface making linear contact with the stop and an inner surface making contact with a thrust surface formed by the fingers.
