PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo service system and a photo service providing method capable of providing photographs or an album simply to a specific recipient after the lapse of a fixed period without being limited by a storing space. SOLUTION: The system has a photo service store 3 for performing the EDP processing of a photographic film provided by a user and the conversion processing of the film to digital picture data and a server 2 for providing the digital picture data to the prescribed recipient after storing it for the fixed period. The store 3 allows the user to select the photograph to be provided to the recipient, converts the photograph to the digital picture data and transmits it to the server with message data, user specifying data, recipient specifying data, a providing time limit and a providing method. The server 2 inputs/stores the transmitted data, makes a time limit management means 7a and a timing means 7b manage a time limit and makes a data providing means 5b provide digital picture data and message data to the recipient by a providing method. |
