PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disk loading/unloading device which does not cause deformation of parts and damage to a hard disk unit by preventing excessive load, and which permits safe loading/unloading and can prevent the hard disk unit from being damaged by unauthorized operation. SOLUTION: A hard disk loading/unloading device excellent in operability and reliability is constructed by arranging a tray 3 on which the hard disk unit 4 can be mounted, constructing the hard disk unit 4 so as to be automatically loaded/unloaded by driving the tray with a tray driving motor 1, and controlling by a control circuit 24 to drive the tray 3 after having halted the hard disk unit 4 especially at the time of ejecting.
