<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network telephone system through which users are capable of speaking with each other by telephone without getting access to a call control server. SOLUTION: A network telephone system is equipped with a plurality of terminals (1 to 4, 9, 11 to 13) connected to an IP network (7), gateway units (6 and 16) connect at least one of the terminals (1 to 4, 11 to 13) to the IP network (7), and a call control server (8) which calls up a terminal requested for calling on the basis of a request of the terminal (1 to 4, 11 to 13) connected to the gateway units (6 and 16) for a call-out. The gateway units (6 and 16) are equipped with a memory where the IP addresses allocated to the terminals (1 to 4, 9, and 11 to 13) and phone numbers are registered so as to set the IP addresses against the phone numbers, acquire the IP address registered in the memory corresponding to the telephone number of a terminal which is requested for calling and outputted from the terminals (1 to 4, 11 to 13) when the request of the terminals (1 to 4, 11 to 13) connected to the gateway units (6 and 16) for call-out is made, and call out a terminal (9) requested for calling on the basis of the acquired IP address.</p> |
