PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily provide information useful for judgment, an operation, etc., by a user in the case of obtaining contents from a server device. SOLUTION: An LWP 16 obtains a text file from a WWW server 14A through the Internet 13, further obtains the data size of a picture file designated by an IMG tag within this text file, and adds a character string corresponding to this data size to the ALT attribute value of the IMG tag. Then, the LWP 16 transmits the text file to a DTE 11 through the Internet 13, a gateway server 15 and a moving packet communications network 12. This DTE 11 displays the ALT attribute value including the character string corresponding to the data size in place of the picture of an un-displayed state. |
