PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create animation to express deformation of a tree or the like caused by motion of wind. SOLUTION: First, a user makes disposition of each object (S202). As the object, a building, ground, terrain, etc., are included, other than the tree. Next, setting concerning generation of wind is made (S204). After completion of setting, a boundary condition map related to each object is generated (S206). For determining flow of wind in the overall space, physical simulation of wind is conducted in a lattice for wide-range calculation (S208), and physical simulation of wind related to surroundings of the tree is conducted using a detailed lattice, based on results obtained by the wide-range calculation (S210). Wind force applied to branches and leaves of the tree is fed back to make deformation (S212). Based on this deformation, the object is drawn (S214). For reflecting the results of deformation of the tree, the boundary condition map is updated (S218). |
