PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double-layered capacitor which has large capacitance, low internal resistance, and high output. SOLUTION: The electric double-layered capacitor is equipped with a plus electrode and a minus electrode as two electrode bodies each having an electrode layer formed of a mixture of activated carbon, a binder, and a conductive material on at least one surface of an aluminum foil current collector and a separator arranged between the plus electrode and minus electrode and also has the plus and minus electrodes and separator impregnated with an electrolytic solution. Here, the aluminum foil current collector is 10 to 50μm thick, the electrode layer is 80 to 500μm, and the separator is 25 to 100μm; and a conductive layer of 0.2 to 20μm in thickness is formed between the electrode layer and aluminum foil current collector.
