PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the present electromagnetic wave communication system is physically too large to be incorporated into a digital camera body, resulting in a system which is too expensive to purchase and use. SOLUTION: The digital camera 12 includes a graphic user interface 26 for displaying camera control menu and having a normal viewing axis, camera grips located on opposite sides of the camera body for holding the camera to operate a transceiver 10, while viewing the graphic user interface 26, and directional antennas 28, 30 arranged with respect to the camera 12 to point away from a user of the camera and having a 90±10 degree vertical beam width centered at the horizontal direction±20 degrees, and a 180±20 degree horizontal beam width, when the camera is held by grips for normal viewing of the graphic user interface while operating the transceiver 10.
