PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set the transmission level of subscriber's radio station equipment (CPE(customer premise equipment)) to a proper value, without affecting other cells, in a P-MP system of subscriber radio access system. SOLUTION: When additional installing CPE 2 to be placed under the command of radio base station equipment (BSE) is installed, a detector 16 detects the reception level of an information channel signal 51 received from BSE1; and a controller 15 controls a variable attenuator 17 so as to lessen the transmission level, when the reception level concerned is large and enlarge the transmission level, when the reception level concerned is small; and the CPE concerned automatically sets its own transmission level to a proper value.
