PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a television camera that is used for monitoring an outdoor place at nights and can more clearly identify an object, depending on the motion of the object. SOLUTION: The television camera selects provision of an output of a color image for the object without motion and an output of a black/white image, including a wavelength component in the near-infrared ray region with image blurs in the case of intrusion of the object with a motion.
