PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable shield case which can correspond to shielding of substrates using one kind of a case main body when a plurality of kinds of the substrates of different widths are provided within the case main body and are shielded. SOLUTION: A variable shield case is constituted in such a structure that a case main body provided with legs 1a and 1a is separately formed into a right half body 1A and a left half body 1B. The upper and lower walls 1b, 1c, 1d and 1e of the half body 1A and the half body 1B are freely slid vertically to each other. A plurality of holes 1f are formed in the upper and lower walls 1d and 1e on one side of the walls 1b, 1c, 1d and 1r toward the longitudinal direction. Elastic projected parts 1g engaged with the holes 1f are provided on the walls 1b and 1c on the other side to slidingly adjust the walls 1b, 1c, 1d and 1e. The projected parts 1g are made to engage with the hole parts 1f, are posited to the hole parts 1f, and are fixed in the hole parts 1b in a state that the left and right lengths of a substrate 2 and the inner sauces of the walls 1b, 1c, 1d and 1e coincide with each other, the legs 1a and 1a of the main body 1 and connector terminals 3 and 3 mounted on the substrate 1 are inserted in a main substrate 4, and the case main body 1 and the substrate 2 are fixed by soldering on the substrate 4 on the side of the rear surface of the substrate 4 and the case 1 and the substrate 2 are connected with the main substrate 4.
