PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil bobbin of a drive coil, which can meat the request for miniaturization of a hammer pin drive machine element itself by further miniaturizing the drive coil and at the same time reduces the manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: A convex rib having a height that can be fitted to the space that is divided by cylindrical coil adjacent in first winding and the outer periphery surface of the coil bobbin in integrated on the outer periphery surface of the coil bobbin for each interval that is equal to one winding diameter or two or more winding diameters. Also, the convex rib is continuous on the outer periphery surface of at least a wide side.
