PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface circuit which is capable of preventing complementary transistors connected in series between a power supply voltage and a ground from generating a through-current, by providing a circuit of small scale additionally. SOLUTION: When a level change occurs in input signals, a level change in the input signals is transmitted to the gate of either a PMOS transistor QP or an NMOS transistor QN which is kept on through the intermediary of a corresponding transmission gate without delays to turn off both the PMOS transistor QP and the NMOS transistor QN, and then the level change of input signals is transmitted to the gate of the MOS transistor, which is turned on to a level change of the input signals through the intermediary of a corresponding delay device.
