PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic-molded objective lens for an optical pickup, that is high in precision, high in performance and easily manufacturability at low cost, and also to provide an optical pickup using the objective lens. SOLUTION: The objective lens for the optical pickup is composed of at least two or more plastic-molded lenses. A first abutment part 11 is provided on the periphery from the optical function part of a first lens, while a second abutment part 21 is provided on the periphery from the optical function part of a second lens that is placed opposite from the first lens 1. The first abutment part 11 of the first lens 1 and the second abutment part 21 of the second lens 2 are abutted on each other to form the objective lens 10 in the manufacturing and assembling. This objective lens is then assembled into an optical pickup. |
