<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for flat cable connection which protects from external force a conductive connecting part vulnerable to external force falling on a flat cable and enables wiring with reliability even at wiring work in a narrow place without worry on its treatment. SOLUTION: With the connector for flat cable connection 2, an insertion- coupling member 22 controlling movement of a flat cable 1 is composed of a an engaging component part 23 and an insertion-coupling component part 24 through a hinge-combining part and the engaging component part is provided with both sleeve parts arranged left and right, an engaging part B for engaging the sleeve parts with the insertion-coupling component part, a combining part 32 combining the both sleeve parts and having an engaging part (a) engaging with an engaging part A. The insertion-coupling component part has an engaging part b engaging with an engaging part B of the engaging component part and a pressing part 35 for pressing down the flat cable, and controls movement of the flat cable by inserting the pressed part into the terminal fitting housing hole, engages the engaging part b with engaging part B by bending the hinge- combining part, and at same time, by engaging the engaging part (a) with the engaging part A.</p> |
