<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a flat cable which can prevent a terminal of the flat cable from popping outside of an insertion-coupling part as well as prevent intrusion of foreign matter into the insertion-coupling part. SOLUTION: A terminal of FPC 10 is controlled from popping outside an insertion-coupling part 21 by covering the surrounding of an opening of the insertion-coupling part with a pop-out controlling member 35. Intrusion of foreign matter into the insertion-coupling part 21 is also controlled. Further, when both housings 20, 40 are insertion-coupled, the pop-out controlling member 35 is pressed by the female housing 40 to retreat to a shelter position, which avoids its interference with a male housing 20.</p> |
