SUBSTANCE: magnetic generator of pulses is designed for generation of pulses with short front to excite quantum generators, radar systems and for other technical and technological purposes which demand employment of high-power pulses with short front. Magnetic generator of pulses has power supply source, charge and storage elements, key, saturating transformer. Secondary winding of transformer includes saturable-core reactor and pulse transformer, first and second capacitance storage circuits. Load is connected to output winding of pulse transformer. Reactor has one turn positioned inside core uniaxially with its axis. Turns of primary winding of pulse transformer are wound on cylindrical core of reactor. First capacitance storage circuit is placed in series between leads of turns of reactor and primary winding of pulse transformer.
