PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque control device for electric vehicle capable of reducing body vibration generated at shift operation from a travel range to a stop range. SOLUTION: A motor indication torque calculator 24 is provided with an indication torque corrector 24a. The motor indication torque calculator 24 calculates motor indication torque from a map or the like preset based on the signals from respective switches or sensors 10-14. At the same time, in the case where a shift position is switched from the travel range to the stop range, the indication torque corrector 24a corrects the motor indication torque, taken immediately before the shift position is switched from travel range to stop range, to gradually decrease to '0' within a preset time. |
