PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load controller capable of driving a load, even if external device, such as a pendant-type manipulation indicator, etc., are not connected, connecting the external device while the load is driven, and further stopping driving of the load, when the external devices are eliminated out of the connection to a plurality of external devices. SOLUTION: If it is detected that an external device 50 is not connected, when a power supply for a controller 1 is closed, a short-circuit command is given to a photocoupler 7 and a contact 5 of a relay 4 is closed to put a motor M into a drivable state. If it is decided that the external device 50 is connected, when and after the power supply of the controller 1 is closed, a command for non-short-circuit is given to the photocoupler 7 with a timing, after a circuit including an emergency stop switch 51 of the external device 50 is established as the input circuit of a switching control signal for a relay 4, and the photocoupler 7 is kept in a non-short-circuit state. |
