<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal connecting apparatus offering high sealing capability. SOLUTION: A bus bar 31 which is inserted into a circular through hole formed in a easing 10 and connects terminals placed inside and outside the easing 10 with each other to provide continuity between the terminals, has circular cross-sections at the part thereof which is passed through the through hole 11A. The circumference of the cross-sections is covered with a grommet 32 having circular cross-sections, and the aspect ratio of the grommet 32 is 1. Therefore, when the bus bar assembly 30 comprising the bus bar 31 and the grommet 32 is fitted into the through hole 11A, the vertical compressibility of the grommet 32 is equal to the horizontal compressibility thereof. As a result, the fitting portions of the bus bar 31 and the grommet 32 are uniformly in tight contact with each other, and sufficient sealing capability is ensured at the fitting portions between the grommet 32 and the bus bar 31.</p> |
