<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quickly detachable bracket by decreasing the number of components to reduce costs. SOLUTION: This is a bracket for mounting a CD-ROM drive on a chassis of a desktop personal computer, and is provided with a base part 1 to be fixed on the side wall parallel to the direction of inserting the CD-ROM drive into a slot, and a slide part 2 to be held in the slot H of the base part 1 to be slidable in a parallel direction of being inserted in the slot. The slide part 2 has a pair of semispherical projections 23a, 23b which can be engaged respectively with a pair of recessed parts formed on the side wall in the slot of the chassis. When the CD-ROM drive is inserted in the slot, the slide part 2 is inserted in the slot with the base part 1 integrated, and also the inserted slide part 2 is made to slide, and thereby the projections 23a, 23b can be engaged with the recessed parts on the wall face in the slot.</p> |
