PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data input output device that can prevent in advance a recording buffer from overflowing so as to avoid missing of recording data and can warrant continuity of recorded data. SOLUTION: The data input output device is provided with a recording processing section 1, a recording buffer memory 2, a disk 3 that records video audio data, a disk control section 4 that controls the disk 3, a buffer control section 5 that controls transfer of data of the recording buffer memory 2 and a reproduction buffer memory 6 depending on a command queue issued by a system controller 8, the reproduction buffer memory 6, a reproduction processing section 7, and the system controller 8 that issues the command queue to set a transfer start address and a transfer length to the recording buffer memory 2 and the reproduction buffer memory 6 according to an interruption signal. The system controller 8 has the command queue to set an input output address and the transfer length to the recording buffer memory 2 in advance and the buffer control section 5 is configured to generate an interruption at each transfer end.
