PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system that can simply that can simply set an operating condition of a controlled system device and confirm the set operating condition. SOLUTION: The network system is provided with operating condition setting plates 42 to 48 on the rear side of which different conductor patterns are formed and on the front side of which characters denoting the operating conditions are formed. Furthermore, a light 11 connected to the network system is provided with an operating condition setting section 27 where contact groups 33, 34, 35 comprising eight circular contacts S1 to S8 and one reference contact S0 are formed. When a user fits the operating condition setting plates 42 to 48 to the contact groups, an MPU built in the light 11 reads the state of each contact group as an 8-bit digital value, recognizes the operating conditions from the digital value, and electrically controls the inside of the device when discriminating the operating condition is satisfied to execute a prescribed operation for the device.
