The pump has cylinder borings with pumping pistons in them. A damping piston (6) is fitted with play in each pumping piston.(8). It is sprung to the pumping piston by means of a compression spring (11). it is supported by a metal spring element (5) between the damping piston head and the pumping piston head. there is a radial relief boring (4) in the pumping piston near the head.
