The invention relates to a sheet-like illumination element (1) for an illuminating roof. The illuminating element (1) may be obscured whereby said element comprises a dimming device (2) with a first flat shutter element (3), arranged parallel to the sheet with shutter openings arranged in a distributed manner and a second dimming element (4), arranged parallel to the first dimming element (3) with shutter covers (4a) arranged in a distributed manner. One of the dimming elements (3, 4) can move between a closed position in which the shutter covers (4a) completely or partially cover the shutter openings and an open position in which the shutter openings are open. |
