The invention relates to a fuel injection valve (1) for fuel injection systems in internal combustion engines and to a method for the production of said valve. Said fuel injection valve (1) comprises a valve seat body (5) which has a valve seat surface (6) that cooperates with a valve closing body (4) to form a sealed seat. Said valve also comprises a nozzle body (2) to which the valve seat body (5) is permanently connected, wherein the valve seat body (5) can be inserted inside the body of the nozzle (2) and has a semi-spherical outer geometry on its downstream side, which is placed on the locating surface (40) pertaining to a seat body recess (38) in the body of the nozzle (2). The valve seat body (5) is mounted on the locating surface (40) in such a way that it can rotate relative to the body of the nozzle (2) until it is finally fixed in its position and can be aligned by means of a centering punch.
