The invention relates to a method for treating material mixtures, which contain a coarse component (3) and a predominantly coherent fine component (4), whereby both the material mixture (2) and an aggregate (5) are fed to a homogeniser-separator (12) in continuous streams (11, 23). The homogeniser-separator (12) uniformly blends the aggregate (5) and the material mixture (2), in order to convert the fine component (4) of the material mixture (2) into a condition, in which said fine component (4) can be separated from the coarse component (3). The continuous feeding of the material mixture (2) and the aggregate (5) into the homogeniser-separator (12) ensures a homogenous, thorough blending of the aggregate (5) and fine component (4), in such a way that the separation of the coarse component and the fine component can take place immediately in the same device. Said method allows material mixtures (2) to be treated without the production of waste in a single method step, producing two utilisable products. |
