The device for fixing in position an optical structural part (2) in an apparatus housing comprises a retainer (1) connected with the housing (10), which presses the structural part under tension into a housing recess (12). The retainer is formed in one piece from elastic material and is provided with clamp stirrups (3,4,5,6), of which at least one presses the structural part in the direction of one of the coordinates (X,Y,Z) against a reference plane. On the retainer, components are formed for fixing it to the housing. The retainer is made from spring metal plate. The retainer is provided with guide ribs (7,8) and the housing with grooves (19) or vice versa, which engage in each other, fixing the retainer to the housing.
