PURPOSE: A method of processing textiles is provided by soaking in an aqueous solution containing glyoxal resin and urethane resin and heating in an oven to fix the resin to the textile. Whereby, the textiles have excellent crease resistance even when subjected to a wetting process such as washing. CONSTITUTION: Textiles are immersed in an aqueous solution containing 5 to 9% by weight of glyoxal resin, 2 to 5% by weight of urethane resin, 25 to 30% by weight of a glyoxal resin catalyst and the balance of water, rotated for 10 to 30min and then dried after dehydrating. Thereafter, the pre-dried textiles are left alone in an oven at 50 to 230deg.C and cooked at ordinary temperature. A silicon softening agent, a repulsive elasticity softening agent or a strength reduction preventing agent is optionally added to the aqueous solution.
