<p>This invention provides a nucleic acid which encodes a soluble polypeptide which comprises the extracellular domain of a gonadotropin receptor and thioredoxin, wherein the soluble polypeptide is capable of binding to the gonadotropin. This invention also provides the polypeptides encoded by these nucleic acids and methods to produce the polypeptides. This invention also provides methods of preventing or terminating pregnancy, preventing or treating cancer, and decreasing androgen and estrogen production.</p> |
