The auxiliary heater is designed with hot air discharge openings (13,16,24,36) at the outer periphery of the seat back rest (3) or head support (1), inside openings. The hot air discharge openings are connected across pressure stub pipes (4) with a hot air blower (8). Which is arranged at the rear of the seat back rest, the head support or in the region of the roll bracket.
