<p>PURPOSE: A multistage tray tower for biological wastewater treatment is provided, which is characterized in that oxygen acting as an essential factor for the growth of biomass is supplied without additional power supply in comparison with conventional activated sludge processes. Also, it has advantages that the process is tolerative to load fluctuation even in case sudden organic load increase is observed. CONSTITUTION: The multistage tray tower for biological wastewater treatment comprises a flow equalization tank(102) which supplies wastewater to spray nozzles(1'); a screen conveyor(3) which separates suspended matter; a biological reactor(1) in which multistage trays are installed to allow biomass to come into contact with wastewater; air gates(1a) which are formed on the circumferential surface of the biological reactor to supply oxygen for biomass; a clarifier(103) which settles residual sludge and discharges supernatant; and a residual sludge nozzle(103') which recycles residual sludge settled in the clarifier to continuously supply activated sludge to biomass.</p> |
