A high-pressure shell type compressor, wherein an oil outflow hole (15) is provided at a position higher than an opening part at the lower end of an oil circulation pipe (208) and lower than the lower end of a rotor (206) disposed around a rotating shaft (205), an oil inflow hole (16) is provided in a delivery pipe (2), and the oil outflow hole (15) is connected to the oil inflow hole (16) through an oil bypass pipe (17), whereby the oil to be accumulated more than the level of the oil outflow hole (15) in the high-pressure shell type compressor can be escaped to the delivery pipe (2) or an accumulator through the oil bypass pipe (17).
