Articulated drive has a ball joint. A ball (1) is fitted in an intermediate casing (19). This casing is itself inside a main casing (20). A drive (28) for the ball is provided. The intermediate casing may also be in the form of a ball joint and may have its own drive (30). Each of the drives (28,30) may have an electric motor.
