The plug-in connector element has at least 2 flat contact elements (1,2) of an electrically-conductive material, coupled together via at least one coupling element (3,4), fixed in a defined geometric configuration by embedding in an electrical insulator. The contact elements are rotated relative to one another for increasing their relative spacing and/or the coupling element extends at an angle to a flexure axis (8) for allowing bending about the flexure axis. An Independent claim for a manufacturing method for a plug-in connector element is also included.
