The invention relates to image processing devices comprising user image data input devices for inputting current user image data; image data editing devices for obtaining edited user image data from the current user image data; and image data output devices for outputting edited user image data. The image data editing devices contain image component localising devices for detecting the position of head or face data inside the current user image data, in order to enable the face data inside the current user image data to be separately edited. Said image component localising devices contain a memory for all of the current user image data or part thereof, in addition to processing devices which determine the position of the head or face data inside the current user image data or the stored part thereof, in such a way that the position of the head and face data is available for further processing inside the image data editing devices. The invention also relates to an image processing method, whereby current user image data is introduced into user image data input devices, image data editing devices produce edited user image data from the current user image data, and edited user image data is output by means of image data outputting devices. The position of the head or face data inside the current user image data or part thereof is detected by means of the image data editing devices, in order to enable the head or face data inside the current user image data or part thereof to be separately edited. The current user image data or part thereof is analysed according to a structure from which the position of the head or face data inside the current user image data or part thereof is obtained, and the position of the head or face data inside the current user image data or part thereof is used for further processing inside the image data editing devices. |
